ART CURATION in TOKYO : WINTER
LED.ART brings freshly curated media art to three major outdoor screens in Shinjuku and Shibuya, Tokyo—YUNIKA Vision, Cross Vision, and Pandora Visions—each season. Works are broadcast multiple times per hour throughout the day, weaving art into the rhythm of the city and the everyday lives of those who move through it.
This season features Jellyfish Forest, where colossal jellyfish drift through the heart of the city at a scale that could never exist in the natural world. Each one pulses and contracts to its own quiet rhythm, filling the screen with slow, continuous motion. Light filters through their translucent forms and bleeds into color, layering vivid, shifting afterimages over the stark winter cityscape—stopping passersby in their tracks, if only for a moment.
